Some of us attempt to make the lordship of Jesus Christ all about what we can do for Him, but Jesus tells us that apart from Him we can do nothing. Submitting to His lordship is a good desire to have, but it's not something we can do alone. Before we can let Him be lord, we must accept how great a savior He really is.
